Spiders, Cats, Rats & Simple Fun

As we spiral closer to home, even visits to kids and grandkids in Toronto seems like a long-distance trip to us. I wonder if they know that their house is covered with spiders?

Inside, a cat called Cannoli followed us around.......

.... as we made our way upstairs. Ted was thrilled to see that the barrister's cabinet that he built for Joel many years ago is still in good shape....

,,,, and, be still my heart.... two typewriters!!!

Our entertainment for the afternoon was a personalized game of Jeopardy. Cannoli seemed to be impressed. Or maybe he was waiting for the answer. The things a cat learns on a Sunday afternoon in October.

Apparently, we needed more entertainment.

Pillow balancing.

Of course.

Maybe the rats in the front window were trying to find a way out.
