Hello Gardens!
It is wonderful to be home. The gardens seem to be happy about the rains of the past two weeks. Rhubarb, some herbs and 6 little bunches of flowers were ready to make their way to Fare Share this morning. Good timing!
I love this colour combination.
Every year, these two chum bushes boom profusely. They may bear 1/1000th of the possible chums when all is said and done. But, they sure do look lovely in the spring. We dug out 3 other plum/chum trees because they were making life difficult for the perennials around them. We will probably keep these, just to enjoy their beauty.
I was wondering if I'd smothered our trilliums with all of the sawdust mulch. Guess not!
We are transitioning to more pink tulips. Ted loves pink.
Red currants and black currants (yay!) have an abundance of blooms this year.
This is where I harvested the rhubarb this morning. I've been sneaking rhubarbs in between the hostas in this bed. Can't wait to have some.
And, finally... introducing the inside of our greenhouse. Ted installed the roof vents and automatic openers and started on the raised beds while we were away. What a man!
I am so glad to be home.

but my life was never ordinary.
I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was.”
