A Walk in the Snow

Writer's picture: Hilda Van NettenHilda Van Netten

I convinced Ted to follow in my footsteps this morning.

This is a colour picture. The colour is pretty under-represented, don't you think? I think the rest of the post needs to be in black and white.

Going down Cochrane Road felt and sounded like walking on a pillow.

Every tree accepts snowfall differently from every other tree. I love how the pine trees' snow looks like a ladder.

Looking up, the branches were getting overloaded with snowflakes. We wondered if they'd start to dump down our necks.

So pretty when snow cascades down from the trees......

.... pretty until all hell breaks loose.

Hmmmmm....

Notice: Ted's not walking in my footsteps any more.

🥴

Don’t walk behind me… I may not lead

Walk beside me… just be my friend”
