Be Still My Heart

We've got a pair of foodies here for the week. Item one on their list: make a fruit salad and invent a new fruit drink. Of course.

Charlotte knows every nook and cranny of our house. When she lived with us 2 ½ years ago, she investigated every cupboard and closet. I guess that's part of being a kid. Exploring the place where you are loved and internalizing everything in it. Today, she figured we needed to use the crystal wine glasses for our fruity drinks.

She's not proud of herself at all, is she?

How long will we get to enjoy this kid's kiddish ways? Twelve is around the corner.

We'll savour every minute we have with them.

Especially ones that come downstairs well after bedtime and say, "Grandma, you are irreplaceable."
