It's taken all summer, but finally the Kingston grandkids are here.
What a wonderful place the National Air Force Museum of Canada is. And for kids who are 8 and 10, it is perfect.
They're not having any fun at all.
There were three different cockpits to explore. For Ewen it was perfect. He even brought along his WWII reference book.
And, for those of us who are not into the military, there's always Miss Piggy.
Sadly, a thunderstorm arrived at the same time as we were going outside to see the large aircraft displays. They closed that area down for the storm. Hopefully there will be a next time.
How many more years will these two be able to sit in Grandpa's chair together?
From military museums to frog catching. The pond was high on their list of things to do at Grandma and Grandpa's place. Poor frogs.
The frog doesn't look too traumatized, does it?
How about this one?
After a few sessions in the skimmer, the frogs got smart.
"I don't thing they can see me now."
“We're all stories, in the end.”
