If you take one set of grandkids to From Scratch Farm, it would be just wrong not to take the other set. All week long the Toronto girls have been looking forward to carrying goats.
Well, at least that is what I thought.
It looks like the chickens want a little attention too, don't you think?
Our lovely host Lesley, helped Frances scoop out some goat feed.
Hmmmm..... do you think they will jump on my back?
I think the little guy on the right was stunned at the epic slip and fall.
So, if at first you don't succeed...... try another angle. Looks like this goat didn't get enough supper. Hair scrunchies for dessert.
At this point, you may be wondering where Nora was? Well, we got her inside the fence. Inside the fence and petting one chicken.
A giant step for mankind.
Maybe one day she will be as infatuated as these two were.
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love.
When we are afraid, we pull back from life.
When we are in love,
we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance.
We need to learn to love ourselves first,
in all our glory and our imperfections.
If we cannot love ourselves,
we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create.
Evolution and all hopes for a better world
rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”
