Imagination Has No Age

I asked each of the girls which one thing they wanted to do during their week with us. I thought they might say things like go to the beach. Nora wanted to "play cars". Well then, play cars it is. We used picture matting cutouts to make a village complete with a park and houses for our cars' owners. Different stroke for different folks. Perfect activity for a hot afternoon.

Frances was dying to let her hair loose and play "I'm free!" Maybe when you live in the city and are offered a soft green country lawn, running in bare feet and letting your hair fly in the wind is the best thing you can imagine doing.


Imagination has no age.


The only thing that would have made those before-dinner hours better would have been a visit from the best kind of cat. But, he was nowhere to be seen.
