Since Ted has been getting a better sleep using a CPAP machine, we have a new man in the house. That new man was missing his vacations. And who better to have a vacation with but our Covid Adventure Buddies!

It is wonderful poking around the countryside with friends who have no problem stopping and admiring and photographing whatever strikes their fancy.

Like a field of small coniferous trees that have had a tough, dry summer.

It rained all day, so a road trip was perfect. Ayers Cliff was the destination, but that didn't mean that we couldn't make a side trip to one of our favourite fromageries, La Station. They are using a robot to turn their cheeses.

Some yumminess came home with us to our little house in Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

I love how Rainex causes raindrops to skid across the windshield. There are still some really nice reds in the forests in this part of Quebec.

And, there's our mountain.

We will be here for a week. We have no idea where we are going each day, but we've got lots of great options. And, tomorrow there should be no rain!
