Sometimes, all I need to do is go outside and wonderful presentments come across my path. This morning was one of those times. And, as an aside, I think I've been listening to too many Anglo-Saxon podcasts. Presentment? Who uses that word?

Words Worth a Thousand Pictures - This Morning's Trip to Peterborough

✼ Healthy coyote trotting through the cornstalk stubble on Cavan Road

✼ A small hawk, or was it an owl, rising out of a large maple tree.

✼ Morning sun colouring the clouds pink between distant shallow hills on highway 28.

✼ Peterborough Farmers' Market: 10 lbs. Huckleberry potatoes from Brown's Farm. 10 lbs. Summer Wildflower Honey from dear friend and former art student, Russet.

✼ Back entry of Larry Electric - feels like the 19th century - industrial ramp leading down to heavy door that says, "close door behind you".

✼ 20 person lineup at Hard Winter Bakery. Conversation about what to try with lady in front of me. Potato Cheese and Cranberry it is. Yum! Blueberry Lemon Scones to eat in the car - breakfast.

✼ Peterborough Regional Farmers' Market discussion - do we go? do we not go? Ted feels led to go. Bonus of the day: TWO hugs from Colleen (another former art student) just inside the door. The presentment of the day. Right?

✼ 4 Amish ladies, all dressed identical.

✼ Pale pink sky just above Lake Ontario and above that? Moody blue/grey clouds.

✼ Home!
