Quirky Christmas

Our family Christmas is scheduled for 10 days from now. Today, we had a warmup with half the family. Since this family spent time in England recently, their Christmas Day menu had a British influence. Toad in the Hole it was.

I love witnessing the copious amounts of mashed potatoes a 14 year old can consume.

We are not into formalities ...

... but prefer to wear golden crowns and....

.... eat homemade applesauce right out of the jar.

Dogs and chickens are at home....

,,,, and Fugglers get a thorough dental cleaning after the meal.

Until today, I did not know that such a creature existed.
