Who You Are

On Wednesday, our young fisherman caught 13 fish.

Yesterday, 7 fish were caught by our fisherman and his sister and friend.

It was just our fisherman and myself at the lake this morning. Conversations were easy to hear across the calm water.

Kennebec Lake was almost mirror-like.

Ewen has wanted to fish from a kayak for some time. This morning was his chance to do just that.

He paddled to the other shore....

.... and after witnessing a large Muskie jump out of the water, paddled downstream a bit.

But, no luck.

Would a different lure work? Back to the dock to choose another lure.

And, back out again, creating some beautiful wakes.

Isn't it interesting how reflections have straight edges?

More wakes were created......

.... and a perfect reflection in the clear water. But, no fish today. No fish.

No fish, but still a beautiful morning.
